Outdoor Core Groups
"As we dissolve walls in our lives and relationships, what wilderness and possibility can emerge?"
Like life itself, this group is an evolving journey, rich with possibilities. Together, we deepen our connection to the wisdom of our bodies, the energy of our relationships, and the natural world. Each member brings this growing awareness into their personal goals and intentions—whether navigating transitions, healing from trauma, setting healthy boundaries, or seeking a deeper understanding of life’s purpose.
This process blends embodiment and relational therapies with the inspiration of nature and spontaneous ritual, creating a transformative space for growth and healing.
What happens in an outdoor group?
Each session begins with grounding exercises to help us attune to ourselves, each other, and the environment around us. We will engage in embodied practices designed to support self-regulation during challenging moments that may arise as we dive into this deep and committed work.
The sessions incorporate a diverse mix of planned and spontaneous activities aimed at deepening our connection to ourselves, the group, and nature. These practices include—but are not limited to—interacting with the natural environment, Core Energetics process work, small group exploration and conversation, ritual, journaling, and various movement and energy exercises.
Sessions are scheduled every Wednesday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. After a member's initial six-month commitment, members have the option to continue with the group on a seasonal basis.
A 3-month initial commitment is required with the option to continue month-to-month thereafter.
Weather and Safety Considerations
Your health and safety are my top priority. There is no expectation for anyone to risk their well-being, and we encourage everyone to listen to their body and needs throughout this process. For those with specific health concerns,I will do my best to provide accommodations. In the event of unsafe weather conditions we will create an alternative plan to ensure everyone’s safety.
Accessibility Information
Please note that the outdoor grounds of Evans Creek Lodge are currently not accessible for individuals with significant mobility challenges due to the steep grade and stairs. I am actively working on getting city approval to add a ramp for improved access. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work toward making this space more accessible.
