2025 Embodied Workshop Series

Would you like to hear the silent stories your body is telling, and discover how pain can guide you toward deeper healing, honor your sexuality to bring yourself more to life and heal wounds across space and time through your own body today?

This workshop series is an invitation to deepen your connection with yourself and others on a similar journey. Over the course of each 1.5-day session, you will engage in personal process work, gain practical tools, and explore ways to enhance your relationships and your impact in the world.

Each workshop begins with a session on a Friday night and continues with a morning and afternoon session the following day. Held at the historic Evans Creek Lodge along the Rouge River in Southfield, MI – a retreat oasis in Metro Detroit. “Build Your Own Fee” from $240-$360 ($210-$310 Body Reading) with respect to your circumstances. Discounts for those who register early or for more than one workshop!

What’s Sex Got to Do with It?

A Retreat on the Energetic Significance of Sexuality

Fri. June 20, 6-8:30p and Sat. June 21, 10:30a-5p​​
All sexual, not sexual, and gender identities celebrated and welcome, as are those coming single or in any relationship configuration.
In this retreat, you will:

 

  • Have fun, be affirmed, and experience the healing power of community, even around patterns of shame

  • Awaken and integrate latent creative power

  • Strengthen your capacity for both clearer boundaries and truer consent

  • Explore how grounded exploration of sexual fantasy can unlock healing for one’s deepest wounds

  • Leave with reflective prompts, relational skills, and energetic skills to continue bringing healing to where you have experienced painful or protective patterns that seem to stifle your full self-expression

This retreat may be for you if you:

 

  • Would like to feel more energy and freedom throughout your life

  • Are able to tolerate exploring themes that directly relate to sexuality (even though it sometimes may be uncomfortable)

  • Would like to heal from ways that social expectations have had a limiting impact on your life

  • Or are healing from sexual trauma, have already done some work around it, and have access to healing relationships to help you integrate after the retreat

  • Please note: we will be safely and bravely exploring powerful themes that relate to sexuality without engaging in any form of overt sexual activity. Individuals and couples/relationships welcome.

  • Facilitated by Jeremy Fulwiler, LMSW-C, ACCEP, CTS, founder of Wellness Beyond Words, who offers trauma-informed body/mind/spirit counseling for individuals, relationships and groups.

 

Build Your Own Fee

  • Our vision is for all those who are well-aligned with these experiences to be able to financially access them.

  • Early Registration Discount: If you register by May 9 (or at the same time for more than one workshop), you will receive a $20 discount per workshop!

  • Supporter Rate -- $360: Supports Yourself and Others. This tier is above the actual cost of the workshop and the extra money goes towards supporting others who may not have access to paying for the actual cost of the group.

  • Sustainer Rate -- $300: Pays For You. This tier reflects the true cost of this group. It is for those who can meet their basic needs and for whom paying for this workshop may qualify as a challenge but would not create hardship.

  • Community Rate -- $240: Supported by your Peers. This tier, representing a discounted rate, is for those who find it a challenge to meet basic needs, and paying for this workshop at the above rate would not be accessible.

  • Food/Shelter/Medical Exception: If the Community Rate would also compromise your ability to meet your essential food, shelter and/or medical needs, but you would like to participate in this workshop, I offer a limited number of scholarships. Please reach out.
